We are part Education Training Collective (Etc.), which is of a group of colleges in the Tees Valley; Stockton Riverside College, Redcar and Cleveland College, Bede Sixth Form College, NETA Training and The Skills Academy. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Department to join our Stockton Riverside College Management team reporting to our Vice Principal. Stockton Riverside College is a renowned institution committed to providing high-quality education and professional training to students in various fields. We pride ourselves on fostering a vibrant learning environment that nurtures students' talents, equips them with relevant skills, and prepares them for successful careers in their chosen disciplines. With the recent refurbishment of the College and the opening of a number of practical suites there has never been a better time to join Stockton Riverside College.
As Head of Department, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing a team of dedicated Curriculum Managers and staff within the department of English, Maths, Creative and Digital. Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in driving innovation, maintaining high academic standards, and fostering an environment of growth and excellence within the department.
The ideal candidate will be dynamic and experienced professional with a passion for education. Be skilled in managing staff, highly motivated, and possess excellent organizational skills.
