As an Apprenticeship Trainer with Stockton Riverside College, you will be responsible for supporting Apprentices up to Level 3. Through utilising your training and coaching skills, you will guide and support learners’ knowledge, skills and behaviours throughout their training, meeting regularly with the wider apprenticeship team to support with planning effective reviews with Apprentices and Employers. Through effective communication you will set and communicate clear targets and provide feedback to drive timely achievement.
The ideal candidate will have significant industry experience in the electrical sector and must be qualified to Level 3. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Hourly Paid Leisure Assistant to join our Sports Centre team reporting to our Sports Centre Manager. You will be joining a friendly and hardworking team who continues to deliver excellent sporting provision to our local community during commercial hours on an evening and weekend. This role follows a flexible, ad-hoc working pattern, with hours varying according to business needs and mutual agreement. Hours will be provided in advance and work on a 2-week rota shift pattern.
As a Leisure Assistant with Bede Sixth Form College, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers always receive a high standard of customer service. You will be required to set up equipment on time for sporting activities to take place, whilst always providing a clean and safe environment for our customers during their visit. On occasions you will be required to use the Epos booking system with cash handling and key holding responsibilities, and training will be provided.
The ideal candidate will be organised, approachable, enthusiastic, be able to work in a team working to a high level, have excellent IT with problem solving skills and willing to learn and develop to ensure that the Sports Centre continues to be a fantastic sporting hub within the community.

As an Apprenticeship Trainer in Health and Social Care with Stockton Riverside College you will be responsible for the delivery, support, monitoring and assessment of the Level 3 to Level 5 Lead and Leader Adult Care, and Senior Healthcare Support Worker (Mental Health) standards.
The ideal candidate will have significant industry experience within a health care setting in a senior role with experience in mental health, along with a high level of organisational skills and motivation to deliver a range of health and care apprentices, The successful candidate will need to have a high level of drive and enthusiasm, a commitment to high standards and an exceptional approach to innovative teaching and learning within an apprenticeship remit. You will also be required to have a full driving license and access to a vehicle.
It is essential that the candidate holds an assessor award qualification or be willing to work towards an Assessor qualification, and preferably an Internal Quality Assurance/verification qualification along with subject specific qualifications at a higher level and experience of recent working practices within the health and social care sector. You will manage learning support staff and resources, oversee the implementation of the college’s SEN policy, liaise with external agencies, complete exam concessions and documentation for the Local Authority, and provide guidance and training to colleagues to promote inclusive practice.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and able to work to high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. They will have excellent IT, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support both learners and colleagues. A willingness to learn, develop professionally, and maintain a relentless focus on improving the life chances of learners with SEND is essential.
The successful candidate will ideally hold a Certificate in Education/PGCE (or be willing to work towards one) and a degree or vocational qualification in a relevant subject. English and maths at Level 2 (minimum) are required. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an hourly paid multi skills lecturer to join the vastly experienced Construction team, reporting to our Curriculum Manager. The department offers programmes from Level 1 brick, plastering and carpentry & joinery, through to Level 3 apprenticeships. The team work with a number of experts throughout the sector to ensure learners are provided with the most up to date knowledge and skills for progression into their chosen field of work
As an hourly paid multi skills lecturer with Redcar and Cleveland College you will be responsible for creating and delivering a range of innovative and engaging lessons for both young people and adult learners, ensuring teaching and learning meets expected standards. You will be required to plan and deliver a suitable assessment programme ensuring marked work meets the colleges expectations along with tracking records for remaining up to date via both internal and awarding body systems, to show progressions whilst on programme. Administration tasks such as posting relevant classroom resources and materials to group Teams pages, entering information and data onto internal systems and communication with both students and parents/carers is a required element of the role.
The ideal candidate will be a confident, enthusiastic and inspiring lecturer, with knowledge of current trends within the construction industry and the desire to upskill, where needed. High levels of IT and knowledge of Microsoft packages, especially Teams would be beneficial. The ability to manage own time and workloads is required, along with being able to work independently, using own initiative is essential. Experience and knowledge of all elements linking to health & safety within the trades is required. We are seeking a lecturer who can deliver Level 1 programmes to both adults and young people across carpentry & joinery, brick and plastering.
A Level 2 qualification within a brick, plastering or carpentry & joinery trade is essential, along with at least 2 years industry experience and the desire to learn skills within other services needed. A teaching qualification would be advantageous, with full support linking to teaching and learning being given.
