Stockton Riverside College is a vibrant, forward-facing college which offers high-quality standards of education, providing a full range of academic, vocational and higher education courses for young people, adult learners and apprenticeships. We are part Education Training Collective (Etc.), which is of a group of colleges in the Tees Valley; Stockton Riverside College, Redcar and Cleveland College, Bede Sixth Form College, NETA Training and The Skills Academy. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Course Leader in Digital to join our Computing and Games Design teams reporting to our Curriculum Manager in Digital.
As a Course Leader with Stockton Riverside College, you will be responsible for the delivery, support, monitoring and assessment of Digital learners across the department.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in Programming or Games Design, have relevant industry experience or willingness to take part in industry updating, be committed to educational excellence and have good oral and written communication skills. We can offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work and develop within a supportive and motivated team committed to continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will need to have a high level of drive and enthusiasm, a commitment to high standards and an exceptional approach to innovative teaching and learning. The ideal candidate will also have experience within the digital sector and be able to teach in line with the needs of the local workforce and other academic provision.
